An overnight camp as a poetic form of politics. The participants camped in a public park, where wind turbines and architectural landscaping create a kind of aesthetics of utopia. The park sits on the boundary line between Dublin city and Dublin county. At the time of the event the area surrounding the park was experiencing significant housing developments on what had been rural Dublin farm land. I wanted to use a public park as a kind of commons to mark the enclosure and privatisation of the land, and the reduced possibilities for living otherwise that follows.
